This course provides an overview of administering IIS 6 from the command line.
Objectives:
- Differentiate between the various methods for command line administration
- Implement Telnet to run IISReset from a remote IIS machine
- Demonstrate basic IISReset functionality
- Explain the procedures for managing Web sites on a server
- Describe the tasks for administering virtual directories
- Recognize the methods for managing FTP sites, their virtual directories, applications, and Web service extensions
