This course provides an overview of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting DNS.

- Use the Nslookup utility
- Resolve a host name
- Determine a local address
- Identify and resolve Lmhosts file errors
- Verify WINS configuration
- Identify and resolve Hosts file errors
- Verify DNS configuration
- Define DNS and explain its hierarchy
- Describe the process for resolving host names into IP addresses
- Install the DNS Server service
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot DNS
- Configure a caching only server
