How many exams do you have to take to be MCSE certified?

Microsoft offers the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE certification) credential for individuals who pass designated exams for that certification.

The MCSE Certification requires you to pass four operating system (core) exams, one design core exam, and two elective exams from Microsoft's approved exam listing. The MCSE Core exams require candidates to prove their expertise with desktop, server, and networking components.
